We aim to maintain scheduled times whenever possible; however, safety is our primary consideration. Rainy weather, traffic, road construction, and other factors may affect operating conditions; therefore, schedules cannot be guaranteed.

New Bus Route Changes!

New bus route changes effective January 12, 2026! The bus route changes include a brand-new route, Route 45: Newbury Park - Rancho Conejo. Changes also include updated timetables, new route names, and updated brochures. Browse through our website for new material and updates. Information is also available at City Hall, the Goebel Adult Center, the Teen Center, and the Transportation Center.

TRANSFERS

Thousand Oaks provides free transfers between local bus routes and also between VCTC Intercity buses. It allows you to make longer trips for the same low fare. Our electronic fareboxes make it easy to obtain and use a transfer. Click here to read more about transfers.
